Mrs Elizabeth Ann Foster BA
27th October 1946 — 8th June 2024
(Devoted wife of Rev Ivan Foster for 56 years)
Many of you will know that Ann, my beloved wife of 56 years and three months, was taken into the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, on Friday 31st of May. There she was kindly cared for, and our family was likewise helped in every way as we kept watch at her bedside.
We will ever be grateful to the nursing staff in Accident & Emergency and Wards 1 and 7.
This morning at 4.08, my Ann went to be with Christ, which is far better.
Those of you who knew of her illness were praying for her and me and our family.
We thank you for that most sincerely.
She was my sweetheart and fellow-soldier, unfailing in her support and encouragement in the work of the Lord over the years. Many of those years were turbulent and dangerous, but Ann never once complained, wavered or drew back.
She has entered in to her reward, and I will journey on now lacking her sweet counsel and company, but I will join her one day.
What a blessing to be saved and to have the hope of ever being with the Lord amidst our redeemed loved ones.
